Seasoned bassist with over a decade of dedicated involvement in jazz bands through middle school, high school, and college. Jake's experience includes an intensive program of gigging, composing and collaborating with musicians of all different styles and backgrounds. Big groups, small groups, jazz, metal, country, hip hop, he loves to play, so he'll do it all!
Scott Lindorfer is a talented bassist who brings incredible skill and musicality to his musical endeavors. Scott holds a master’s degree in Double Bass Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Scott has performed in classical, jazz, folk, and rock settings since age 12 and is equally at home on electric and upright bass, as well as guitar, mandolin, and banjo.
Lonesome Eddie (aka Elliot Aronson) grew up on swing, boogie-woogie piano, and Appalachian mountain music from late-night WWVA radio. He rocked Boulder’s music scene with Eileen Dover and the Rhythm Kings. In the mid-70s, he founded the original Lonesome Eddie and the Saddle Sores with Austin. Now he brings his signature dobro playing to Blue River, along with years of pedal steel and piano.
